I always make this comparison:
Focusing on problems in your marriage is like focusing on individual "diseased" trees within a magnificent healthy forest.
When you get obsessed with a few trees that aren't in great shape, you miss the whole point of the wonder of the forest.
In this case I'm talking about the "forest" of a happy marriage.
To be truly happy in marriage you have to learn to focus on the big picture.
You have to have a true spiritual basis to your marriage.
No, I didn't say a religious one, a spiritual one.
This means seeing the greater meaning and greater beauty.
That's the first step toward a truly hapy marriage.
Stick with the Science.
Learn and practice the Prescribed Way.
This is the best way to continue to see the "big picture" and not get hung up on "problems."
